Hydrant feed flow test reports, same day

The hydrant feed test is the one most crews still write up after knock-off. Capture readings, photos and signatures at the landing valve — the report goes out under your letterhead before you leave the car park.

Who it is for

Fire contractors running periodic hydrant feed tests on existing systems under AS 1851, and commissioning checks that reference AS 2419.1.

What happens on the day

The technician records static and flowing pressures, flow rate, and landing-valve observations on a phone. Photos and both signatures sit on the same job. The office sees a review queue, not a pile of wet paper.

Standards

AS 1851:2012 Section 4 periodic hydrant testing. Commissioning figures can sit beside AS 2419.1:2021 where that is the job.
