Flow test reports for Western Australian crews
For crews testing hydrants, sprinklers, boosters and hose reels in Western Australia — the brigade you deal with, the plant on the ground, and the reports that come with it.
Brigade
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) is the state fire service. Mine sites and remote camps add their own client standards on top of AS 1851. Someone in Perth still needs a dated, signed PDF they can file.
Typical work
Perth CBD and the inner industrial belt look like any Australian city: hydrants, boosters, sprinkler pumps. The other half of the work is FIFO and regional — long travel, poor signal, and a client who wants the report before the crew flies out.
Systems you will see
Hydrant feed and pump tests on commercial towers; combined rooms on hospitals and campuses; booster tests that DFES and building managers both ask to see. Same-day send matters when the next flight is tonight.
