Brigade

The Tasmania Fire Service is the brigade. The building stock is smaller than the mainland capitals, but the standard on the report is the same AS 1851 visit.

Typical work

Hobart and Launceston mix heritage fabric, government buildings and a handful of modern hospitals. Test points are often tighter. Weather is a real constraint — a report you can finish in the van matters more than a pretty template.

Systems you will see

Hydrant feed and hose reel tests show up on older buildings; sprinkler and booster work on the newer commercial and health sites. One crew often covers the lot, so switching report types has to be quick.
