What coefficient should I use?
Use the coefficient for the pitot and nozzle on the job. A common starting point for a smooth hydrant outlet is around 0.90 — do not treat that as a rule.
What units does this use?
Diameter in millimetres, pressure in kPa, flow in litres per second and litres per minute. Water is taken as 1000 kg/m³ at 20 °C.
